Eveningwalk on a Thursday

On Thursdays, I’m never home from work before 7 pm. And then it’s dinner, so it always takes a while before we’re ready for a walk with Issi.
Thursday June 5th, we were joined by Hubby.
We live right next to Gjelleråsmarka, a hill in one of the surrounding forests of Oslo, and it’s brilliant to use for an evening walk during the weekdays. Two hours goes by so fast!

We walked over to Idas vei (road) and started on the path towards what we call the “Cable Street”. An area with high voltage cables across the hill.
The path we followed, goes zig-zag up the hill, below the high voltage cables. After about 30 mins we came to The Resistance Hut. The actual cabin is relocated, but logs on the ground marks the size and exact place. This cabin was used during The WWII by one of the local resitance groups.

We continued our way uphill, and after a while we came to a junction of paths. We chose one of the paths leading back home, but in antother direction than what we came from.

Issi is always kept on a leash. A long leash. That gives her the freedom to walk, almost, where she wants, and still not run away as there are rules and regulations for that during breeding season of the wild animals.
And as Siberians has got a very strong hunting instinct, I don’t think I can ever trust her 100% when not on a leash.
